More of your developments!

Dearest Annette,

We went for your 3rd physiotherapy session last week and you've improved a lot! You're more keen to sit and you use your hands to support yourself for a longer period of time instead of just crawling off. You're also more keen to look at things with both hands while sitting, even though you need to depend on us to support you to prevent you from falling back or sideways.

You've even started cruising! We noticed you started doing it in your cot and now you've ventured on to Jie Jie's bed, even along the 90-degree turns. So now we've moved the furniture around (not an easy feat in our small 4-room flat with so many things!) to give you more opportunities to cruise and climb so that your muscles can have more exercise.

Your favourite word now is "car", especially when you see your Fisher-Price ride-on. Another word you've been saying is "bag".

You just simply love the smiley face stickers that Jie Jie sticks everywhere! You'll use your pincer grasp (another term that we've learnt for one of the fine motor skills) to remove them from the surface they're pasted on (but we need to make sure you don't put them in your mouth.) Though we try to encourage you to play with other toys like stacking toys etc, you seem most interested in the things that Jie Jie takes out to play with.... good thing Jie Jie is learning to share more with you... and that you're also quite ok at the moment even if Jie Jie takes back whatever you're holding.
