At 14 months

Thank God you're sitting up without support more confidently now! It brings us so much relief that you're able to move from a crawling position to a sitting position independently now. You're still an adventurous girl who likes to climb especially onto stools and chairs to be just like Jie Jie, so we often have to be by your side to make sure you don't topple over.

Another exciting change is that you're willing to let aunties and jie jies in church carry you - though after a while you'll still want to be carried back to mummy. And your physiotherapist managed to hold you for a while too! It's great seeing you open up to people!

In just a matter of 2 weeks, you're speaking more new words again! "No more, no more" is what you say when you don't want to eat anymore, together with your hand actions - we find it rather cute but we also wish you could eat more because you're still below the 3rd percentile in weight. One of our favourites is when you say 'please' in the cutest of ways and clasp your hands. And another favourite is when you say 'Amen' at the end of prayers. Other words include: apple, purple, turtle,  walk, mummy, cup, duck, book, head, hair, nose, keys, open, door, cheese, circle and hairband.

You can point to your body parts like head, nose, eyes, ears, fingers and toes when we ask you where they are. You love pointing at different things and especially the direction to "go".

Oh yes, another big change is that you're ok with drinking Meiji fresh milk (though not very much still but at least you're drinking something else besides breastmilk and water!) and you feed yourself from a small Pigeon bottle! You've also finally learnt to drink from a straw!

We simply love it when you wake up every morning excitedly looking for Jie Jie to give her a nice hug and kiss, as well as before you go to bed at night. It's so adorable seeing you two show love to each other in this manner.
